•   Usability Enhancements

•  Graphical Operation (GOp) Locking

允许用户锁定原理图中的objects，锁定后的objects不能再进行移动。可以对page内的objects、对page、对整个design进行锁定。

●  Placement Report

可以输出元件坐标报告.csv文件，报告中列出元件的以下信息：

○ Reference designator;

○ Part name

○ Schematic name

○ Sheet number

○ File system location of the part library

○  Xco-ordinate location

○  Yco-ordinate location

●  Find Result Reports

执行“Find”命令后，可以对查找结果生成CSV或HTML格式的报告。

■    Introduction of Net Group

OrCAD Capture16.5 提出了Net Group的概念， NetGroup是一组网络的集合。NetGroup可以只包含nets（类似于bus），还可以包含buses或其它的netgroups。

■   CIS.INI Settings

一般情况下，当CIS数据库设置好后，不会再去修改INI配置，但有时也会需要重新配置INI文件，OrCAD 16.5对CIS的INI环境配置文件作了备份，当需要重新初始化配置时，就可以启用备份文件。

■   Partial Design Simulation

16.5版本支持Partial Design Simulation，即用户可以指定设计的部分电路，并进行局部电路仿真。可以用不同的仿真配置文件（simulationprofiles）来仿真设计中的不同电路，也可以只生成设计的指定电路的局部网表，还可以快速地比较和合并设计的各个部分。
